The warranty terms and conditions provided here are for informational purposes only for consumers.  Warranty periods reflected are an indication of warranties that is provided by Rectron (PTY) Ltd.

All products purchased through Rectron, are covered by the individual manufacturer’s warranty as outlined in Table A.  These are standard warranties provided by Rectron.  Rectron will not be held responsible for any other or extra warranty provided through other places of purchase. 

If technical support or exchange is required, the consumer must first seek assistance from the place that the product was purchased.  Rectron does not provide support directly to the consumer unless the consumer is not able to receive any assistance or support from the place of purchase.  In this case if Rectron is able to assist, the consumer must provide their original proof of purchase for any warranty to be carried out for repair or exchange only.  In the event that the consumer would like to have an item credited, this must be done through the place that the unit was originally purchased by the consumer.

Warranty Guidelines
All products supplied or sourced through Rectron are applicable to the following conditions:

1.	The warranty offered by Rectron is a carry in warranty unless as otherwise stipulated by Rectron.
2.	Rectron will not be held liable or responsible for data loss of any nature or form whatsoever. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that data of whatsoever nature is backed up and kept safely.
3.	Rectron will not be held liable or responsible for any virus infestation; malware, trojans, adware of any other software, whether threatened or real that may appear after the goods has been removed from its original packaging and used.
4.	Rectron’s warranty policies only cover the hardware of the goods.
5.	Rectron’s warranty does not cover the software of the goods at all, including any operating systems.

All warranty terms and conditions that are provided at the time of purchase, will apply, unless otherwise stipulated in the CPA in which case the CPA will prevail.
