Problem

Please note that the following motherboards do not support the Prescott Pentium 4 and Celeron D CPU's

8I845GV

8I845GV-RZ

The motherboard with the Prescott Pentium 4 or Celeron D CPU's may tend to be unstable and may freeze. 

Reason

These boards were distributed prior to the release of the Prescott Pentium 4 and Celeron D CPU's and were not validated properly.  Gigabyte did state on their website that the 8I845GV did support Celeron D, but this has been proven to be incorrect.  Gigabyte has confirmed this and are implementing measures to overcome this problem.

Solution

Please use these boards with the Northwood Pentium 4 or the Celeron 400 FSB CPU's for the time being until a solution is decided upon by Gigabyte.
