Asus SL1000 Internet Security Router

Customers can't reset the ASUS Internet Security Router via the reset button on the back of the unit .
You can reset the router through the web browser by going to System Management/Configuration/Default settings and Apply. The unit will reset in 60 seconds.
If they don't know their IP address it is possible to reset via the reset button:

Power down the router for at least 5 seconds |
2. |
Power the router back on and wait for about 5-10 seconds and press the reset button once |
3. |
Wait until the Alarm LED flashes once |
4. |
Press the reset button once more and wait for the Alarm LED to flash twice |
5. |
The router will start the reset procedure right after the Alarm LED flashed twice |
6. |
To cancel the reset press the reset button once more |

This will reset the router back to the default IP – http://192.168.1.1
Username : admin
Password : admin |
