Problem

When installing DV2000 TV tuner card, users will get the following error when installing on nForce 4 chipset motherboards.

Explanation

So far we have deduced that there may be a problem with the resource management for this card.  The reason for this is due to the fact that the DV2000 card uses a PCI-bridge which may be the reason for the problem on the nForce 4 chipset.  We thought that this may be a problem with PCI-e motherboards, but when we tested on different Intel 915 chipset motherboards, we could not replicate the problem.  We have only seen this problem on nForce 4 chipset motherboards and are busy verifying that no other boards have this problem. 

Solution

We have asked Leadtek for a solution to this problem and are still waiting for response.  The solutions that we got did seem to be a work-around for a resource conflict but we are still waiting for more information from them.  We have also found some problems with the TV2000 EXPERT edition on this motherboard with the error “Cannot preview Video” which we are still busy with.  So far the TV2000XP Deluxe and TV2000XP seem to be working fine.  We have still to test these cards thoroughly on the nForce 4 chipset motherboards.  This will be done during the course of this week.
