Problem
Customers are calling in for support for the Leadtek A6600TD VGA card stating that the card is not installing the WDM drivers and causes a code 10 error “Driver cannot start” in device manager.
Reason
Customers are confusing this card to be a VIVO card for the fact that it has got VIVO printed on the cards slot cover plate and the connector looks like a VIVO connector.
They are in fact trying to install the WDM Video capture drivers which are supplied with the CD. Installing this driver causes a code 10 error.
Solution
This is not a VIVO connector. This is in fact an HDTV connector. The HDTV connector can be explained on Page 1 of the “Winfast Graphics Series Quick Installation Guide”
The HDTV has got 4 connectors attached to it while the VIVO connector has got 6 connectors.
